Mellon: We Are Picking Up Momentum

After a 3-1 win against Sutton United, Micky Mellon is now looking up the table for Tranmere Rovers.

This victory sees them now on three league wins in a row, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It is such a tough place to come to, we have dug in and got a great result," Mellon told the club's website.

"We put in a real shift, the team all worked hard, it was a competitive and direct game and we matched them.

"We have got that momentum, it is now important we keep it going both home and away and get the results.

"The recovery for Boxing Day will be crucial, we know how important the next games are for the team, we are picking up momentum."
