Both sides are just 90 minutes away from a trip to Wembley in the Vanarama National League promotion final.
While Ebbsfleet were involved in penalty shoot-out drama, Tranmere had a free mid-week due to finishing second in the table.
“We’re pleased to know who we’re going to face because we can plan a little bit better now," Mellon told the club's website.
“We’re looking forward to it, we’re switched on and know it’s going to be a big game so we’re really looking forward to playing in front of a big crowd. It’s exciting.
“I can’t ask any more from the supporters, just get right behind us as they always do.
“It will be a fantastic day for everybody, it’s what Tranmere wants to be involved in and should be involved in as a football club.
“We’ll keep our focus and try and get it over the line and we should be in for a fantastic afternoon.
Rovers have been dealt a blow with Connor Jennings unavailable for this game, as confirmed by Mellon.
“Connor is out of hospital and is back home. He will be in with us tomorrow for a little bit of light training, so it will be nice to see him up and about and to get him recovered but he won’t be available for selection on Saturday.
