....contract of 24-year-old winger Adam Mekki until the end of the season with a performance-based option for next season.
The Chester-born player originally signed a six-month deal at the start of the season after impressing during a pre-season trial with the club.
He has since gone on to make an impact in the first team with twenty-seven appearances and 2 goals for Rovers so far this season and has become a fans’ favourite at Prenton Park.
Manager Gary Brabin said: "Adam is still young and has a lot of potential and we've seen that in the first few months of his time here. We know that there is still more to come from him and I'm excited to be able to continue working with him.
"We've given him an opportunity to play a number of games this season, which he hasn't done at his previous clubs, and he’s done well so we’re delighted that he has agreed to remain at Tranmere Rovers."
