McMahon Pleased With Fleet's Away Day Gains

Ebbsfleet United boss Darryl McMahon says his side have shown a good attitude in picking up points on the road.

Momentum is key for the side, with McMahon pleased with the away points they have picked up in recent weeks, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We’ve been to Orient, Hartlepool, Halifax, all away in the last five games and we’ve dropped two points. I think that’s a good return from us," McMahon told the club's website.

"That’s four across the season against Orient and I think it’s a good result for our club.”

They are next playing this weekend in a friendly, McMahon wants that to continue their level of form.

"We’ll have a game anyway, we’ll play against Eastbourne Borough at home.

So whatever happens this weekend the side will be in action, whether it is a competitive or friendly match though remains to be seen.
