McMahon 'Bored' By Ebbsfleet's Cup Stalemate

East Thurrock United and Ebbsfleet United will have to do battle again on Tuesday night after playing out a drab 0-0 draw.

The National League South side held their higher league visitors in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round.

Fleet boss Daryl McMahon knows his team can play better, and will have to in mid-week if they are to progress.

"We were far below our level and we need to come back onto the training ground on Monday and get ready for Tuesday," he said. "It was way below our standards but that happens sometimes in the Cup and the important thing now is you're still in the hat for the next round.

"It was really boring. From my perspective, in terms of my team, we didn't do enough today, from the standards I expect of us.

"It's important that we dust ourselves down again ready for Tuesday night back at home and hopefully the unbelievable crowd there today come out again and support us and we give them something to cheer about."
