The new National League North leaders won at Scarborough Athletic on Saturday, their fifth success in a row.
That has taken them from almost the bottom half before Christmas to the summit, but the Seals manager maintains their only target is getting enough points to make the play-offs.
He says he’s got no interest in the standing because he wasn’t bothered when his team were off the promotion pace.
McIntyre saw his in-form side tick off the first of four straight away matches, with games at Radcliffe, Peterborough Sports and South Shields ahead.
He said after Saturday’s win: “I really hope all the supporters enjoy the moment. They were right behind the team but the games now come thick and fast, we’ve just got to keep building.
“We’re getting closer to our goal. We’ve got the 50 point mark now, we’ll probably be safe for another season! We’ve just got to keep working towards our play-off points target.
“The league table is always going to be skewed. Some are two games in hand, some have played two games more. Some teams you have already played twice and some have got some really tough games coming up.
“I’m not going to pay any attention. You can hold me to that!
“The table will only have clarity after 46 games, I won’t be getting wrapped up in it because I wasn’t when we were sitting in tenths a few weeks ago so it’s not fair to now,” he told the club's YouTube channel.
