Weston-Super-Mare moved to within six points of the play-off places after this win, which saw them make it back to back wins in all competitions, writes Tom Feaheny.
"It was a tough game, it could have gone either way, first-half we played well, second-half they looked dangerous and caused problem," McGregor told the club's website.
"On another day we could have scored a few more, it was an exciting game, we defended well and are feeling good after this one."
The game was also the last for Dayle Grubb as he gets ready for his move to League Two side Forest Green Rovers, McGregor paid credit to him.
"It's a great opportunity for him, he's done great for us and we wish him all the best moving forward."
