The next aim is to make it six wins in a row as they face Hampton and Richmond Borough, writes Tom Feaheny.
"We have a squad where we can pick up the odd injury and be able to cope, it is important to keep this run going and gain more momentum," McGregor told the club's website.
Five wins in a row in all competitions was secured as Mare made it through to the first round of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 win at Welling United.
"It's pleasing to be through, we played some superb stuff, we had a little bit of luck but could have won it by more as well," McGregor told the club's website.
They will take on Southern Premier opponents Chesham United away in the next round, something McGregor is looking forward to.
"We’d been hoping for a home tie, but that’s the beauty of cup competitions, anything can happen. We will need to be at our best to get something from the fixture, they showed how capable they are by getting a result when they played Gloucester. Needless to say though we are looking forward to the challenge.”
