McCann, who took the Beavers to the FA Cup first round last season, has agreed a new two-year deal at the Beveree Stadium.
After finishing 15th in the National League South last season, the club announced cuts to their budget for the season ahead. That hasn't put off McCann, however.
“I had the news recently that I would be working with a reduced budget, but I’m aware of the efforts being made to improve it and I want to respond to that," he told the club's website.
"I have never been a quitter and I want to take on this challenge. It’s an exciting time.”
