Marrs Becomes The Latest To Leave The Quakers

Darlington FC have confirmed the departure of defender Liam Marrs from the Vanarama National League North club.

Marrs, who started his career at Sunderland, was signed from league rivals Boston United in the summer of 2016, and in his two seasons with the Quakers, made forty-seven appearances.

He was a regular in the team that finished in the play-off positions in season 2016/17, but in the season just finished, his opportunities became limited, and the club has agreed to his release.

Marrs spent the closing months of the season on loan at Dunston UTS in the Ebac Northern League.
