Marginson Calls For Improvements Ahead Of Darlington Clash

FC United of Manchester have lost their last three games which included a defeat against local side Curzon Ashton.

Karl Marginson says his side simply have to be better in front of goal if they are to get points from Darlington tonight, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to FCUM Radio ahead of the match, the boss spoke about his frustration after the Curzon defeat and what they need to do to improve.

"We have talked about the mistake we made during the Curzon loss, our decision making needs to improve a little, we will look to continue improving the team, we have performed well against some good sides but we know we need to improve ahead of facing Darlington.

"The group are creating chances but it is all about taking them, the fact is we need to pick results up fast."

With the Wednesday night trip up North, Marginson said what he expects from the game.

"I just want to see 100% it will be a tough journey for us, get that win and we know where we are in the league and how important three points would be for us."
