The 25-year-old made three appearances for SkyBet League Two side Carlisle United this season after returning to the Cumbrians for a second spell in October.
The former Keswick and Penrith player re-joined Carlisle after impressing manager Keith Curle in training.
He had linked up with the Blues as he recovered from a cruciate knee ligament injury suffered whilst with previous club Queen of the South.
The 25-year-old made four substitute appearances this season, having previously been on United's books from 2014 to 2016 when he played thirty-six times, scoring 6 goals.
The striker will add yet more competition amongst Matt Jansen's squad.
