The tricky midfielder sent the Silkmen top with a late winner at Guiseley earlier this month, his second goal in as many games while chipping in with some crucial assists.
Durrell also notched in their 5-0 FA Cup fourth qualifying victory over Stourbridge, that has seen them drawn at old National League rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Macclesfield head to London tomorrow to take on Leyton Orient but providing they keep on picking up three points, Durrell is happy.
“It is nice to be scoring goals and creating goals for the lads but it is about the team," he said. "As long as the team is winning that is the most important thing.
"We all want the same thing in the team and as long as we are all pulling in the right direction we can achieve what we believe this season.”
On their cup draw, he added: “I think we could have hoped for a side below us at home or we could have hoped for a glamorous Blackburn away but that is the beauty of the FA Cup, you play who you get drawn and it’s just another game.
"They are struggling in the Football League this season but I know from my experience of playing against them that they are a good team so it is down to us to go to their territory and put on a good performance and get a result."
