Macc Extend Duo`s Stay

...that goalkeeper Shwan Jalal (pictured) and defender David Fitzpatrick have signed extensions to their current deals to keep them at the Moss Rose until the end of the season.

Originally the pairs` contracts were set to be up in January, after agreeing short-term deals back when they signed for the club.

However, these have now been extended and Fitzpatrick and Jalal will continue with the Silkmen for the remainder of the 2015/16 National League campaign.

Jalal has made twenty-eight appearances in all competitions this season since joining the club back in August, recording ten clean sheets in the league and playing a key part for Macc so far this campaign.

Fitzpatrick joined the club a month after Jalal following his departure from Southport at the end of the 2014/15 season and the full-back has made twenty-one appearances for Macclesfield to date.
