Maamria Applauds Nuneaton Despite Missing Out On Victory

A 0-0 draw against Bradford Park Avenue left Dino Maamria happy with the way his side played despite not getting a crucial goal.

It is now three games unbeaten for the side after they picked up a point, in a match where they had good chances, writes Tom Feaheny.

“I thought we deserved to win it. I do not think anybody in the ground today would argue that. We dominated the game from start to finish," Maamria told the club's website.

“But you cannot criticise the players because the effort was there for everybody to see against a good Bradford Park Avenue side. They played the pitch pretty well and slowed the game at vital times.”

“Our lads gave everything. It just did not happen for us in that final touch. You cannot really criticise. The disappointment comes from that we dominated the game and should have won the game.”
