LV BET | Vanarama National League Matchday Three Preview

By Oliver Osborn

Five teams remain with 100% records in the Vanarama National League.

Eastleigh, Hartlepool United, Sutton United and Woking made it two wins out of two in midweek. Bromley made a winning start to their campaign with a 4-1 win over Dover Athletic.

Other highlights from the midweek action saw Kings Lynn Town record their first win at this level with a 3-2 win over Maidenhead United, while pre-season favourites Stockport County came from a goal down to beat FC Halifax Town.

In the live BT Sport match on Wednesday, Notts County recorded their first win of the season with a strong performance over newly promoted Altrincham.

Onto this weekend, there's a repeat of the Vanarama Eliminator as Boreham Wood host Halifax, while Eastleigh and Hartlepool will both fancy their chances of maintaining their unbeaten record as they face Altrincham and Maidenhead, respectively.

Two fancied teams for promotion meet as Yeovil entertain Wrexham, where goals are expected to flow and, at Meadow Lance, Notts County will be looking to repeat their play-off semi-final win over the same opponents this weekend in Barnet.

The live match on BT Sport comes from East London as winless Dagenham & Redbridge will be eager to get points on the board as they welcome Wealdstone, who opened their League season with a creditable 2-2 draw at Yeovil in midweek. It promises to be another entertaining match in prospect in front of the cameras as we’ve seen eight goals so far from the two matches.
