Notts County vs Chesterfield
You can’t call it a derby, but a fierce rivalry more than does this game justice.
Notts County and Chesterfield aren’t exactly friends, and that is what will make Saturday’s meeting a must-watch.
It’s fair to say neither club’s season has gone how they dreamed it would back in August.
Notts - although still very much in the promotion mix - crave some consistency, although manager Neal Ardley always maintained the Magpies’ troubled summer would leave a lasting effect.
Many people were talking up Chesterfield’s title chances but their season has not been one to remember.
But still in the bottom four, caretaker manager John Pemberton has at least eased relegation worries with two wins and a draw in their last three.
After the Spireites’ 1-0 success back in October, who will take bragging rights this time?
