LV Bet Big Preview: National League South Promotion Final

By Sam Elliott

There are of course some massive matches going on this weekend - here's part two of betting partner LV Bet's bumper previews.

The Vanarama National League South Promotion Final is edging ever closer - but who is going to grab the glory in Dorset on Saturday?

Weymouth v Dartford – Saturday 1st August, KO 1pm

Dartford have been the surprise package of the National League South play-offs and are looking to make it a hat-trick of away wins and securing promotion to National League.

In Darren McQueen, they have a striker bang in form and will be eager to add to his 18 goals this season to fire Dartford up.

After a stunning 3-0 win at Slough two weeks ago, Dartford took advantage of a Havant & Waterlooville red card to secure a 2-1 win and a place in the Promotion Final.

Home advantage though will be with Weymouth, who boast a strong record of 12 wins from 19 matches this season and will be looking for a repeat victory over Dartford as they did earlier on in the season.

They needed an injury-time winner from striker Yemi Odubade to secure victory over Dorking Wanderers, who put up a big effort before eventually succumbing to a sucker punch.

The Terras are looking to make it back-to-back promotions. Have they got enough to do it?
