Lucas Bolsters Brackley Attack

Brackley Town have strengthened their attack by signing former Bristol Rovers striker Jamie Lucas.

Lucas recently left National League South side Bath City to obtain more game time.

Lucas signed for Bath in the summer, but didn`t feature regularly in the Romans` starting XI and it was agreed to cancel his contract.

The Pontypridd-born striker joined City in May 2017 following his release from Bristol Rovers.

The 21-year old came up through the youth ranks at Rovers before making his first-team debut against Rochdale in April 2014.

He enjoyed two successful loan spell with Weston-super-Mare and a one at Gloucester City during the 2014/15 season, netting 13 goals in twenty-one games.

The 2015/16 season saw Lucas spend several loan periods with Boreham Wood in the National League, where he also returned to the following campaign along with a spell at Woking.
