Look Who’s Back! Wing Wizard Rolls Into The Racecourse

Jordan Maguire-Drew hopes to pick up where he left off in the Vanarama National League.

The talented wideman has signed for Wrexham on a season-long loan.

Back in 2016-17, the Brighton player was outstanding for Dagenham & Redbridge before returning to the AMEX.

Wrexham hope they can play a part in his progression as he signing raises the mood ahead of their opener with Dover on Saturday.

Maguire-Drew told the club’s website: “I played for Dagenham in this league two years ago, I know what it takes and I know what it’s all about, I’m looking to carry that on.

“I like to create things on the pitch and get the crowd on their feet. I finished in the play-offs with Dagenham and I’m looking to go one better now here at Wrexham.”

Manager Sam Ricketts added: “I identified Jordan as a target early on and we’ve all worked hard to get this deal over the line, so I’m delighted he’s here.

“He adds some more pace from wide areas and he knows where the goal is. We are looking for more of an attacking threat and I believe Jordan will contribute to that.”
