Akil Wright (Wrexham from Fleetwood Town)
Wrexham manager Dean Keates has plenty of faith in Fleetwood loanee Akil Wright. The midfielder has been a regular in the Dragons rise to the top of the National League, having been at Barrow last season. Wrexham have lost just once in their last 15 and kept their twelfth clean sheet of the season on Tuesday night - Wright has been at the heart of it all. The 21-year-old was named in our National League Team of the Weekend from Saturday's fixtures.
Regan Charles-Cook (Woking from Charlton Athletic)
This tricky winger is no stranger to the National League after impressing on loan at Solihull Moors last season from League One's Charlton. He's back in the division again with Woking and is continuing to excel for Anthony Limbrick's side. The 20-year-old has scored six goals in all competitions, including one in the Cards incredible 3-0 win at Bury in the FA Cup first round last week. Have a look at his stunning strike against Dagenham from last month.
Adam McDonnell (Aldershot Town from Ipswich Town)
Aldershot Town's possession based style is enforced by Adam McDonnell in midfield. He joined at the end of August and has been ever present in Gary Waddock's side. It is no surprise that the 20-year-old has twice had his stay at the Shots extended along with Ipswich teammate George Fowler, who is impressing at centre-back. McDonnell has also contributed three goals in his 13 appearances.
Blair Turgott (Boreham Wood from Stevenage)
Like Charles-Cook, this talented forward enjoyed plenty of success in the National League last season with Bromley. The 23-year-old scored 12 goals for the Ravens and his performances earned him a move to Stevenage, of League Two, in the summer. After struggling for playing time in the early part of the season, Turgott signed on loan at Boreham Wood in early September. He's chipped in with three goals since then, scoring the equaliser in the Wood's giant killing of Blackpool in the FA Cup first round.
Nathan Baxter (Woking from Chelsea)
There aren't many 19-year-old goalkeepers, who have made over 40 National League appearances. Chelsea loanee Nathan Baxter has and is another youngster excelling under Limbrick at Woking. He has had several spells in Non-League, aiming to get as much experience of senior football as possible to gain the trust of managers further up the pyramid. Baxter helped Solihull Moors eventually avoid relegation last season and has been entrusted with the number one shirt by Limbrick. Particularly in the early part of the season, Baxter has won plenty of points for the Surrey outfit.
