Finnie, 19, was signed by Tim Harris on loan last season, where he was impressive for the Tigers, making nine appearances and scoring twice, as well as being an instrumental part of the midfield.
The Scottish Youth international won plaudits from the management team and fans alike during his first stint with the club, and Harris is happy to have secured the signing.
“We’re delighted to have Ross back” he told the club`s official website. “In Ross, you have a player who knows the club, the players but most importantly, he knows what we’re about.
“It’s great to have a player of his pedigree in the side. With Chris Knowles still another three or four weeks away, Ross is a good option to have to bridge the gap in midfield.
“Ross is a quality player to have and our thanks go to Wolves for allowing us to take him on loan once again.”
Finnie is available for the Tigers Emirates FA Cup clash with league rivals Hungerford Town tomorrow.
