Live Blog: More Weather Woe As National League Bears The Brunt

By Sam Elliott

Last update: 11.30am

Many matches have fallen as the late winter weather continues to cause clubs problems up and down the country.

This morning, matches at King's Lynn Town and Leamington have been postponed due to waterlogged pitches in National League North.

Matches at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Hungerford Town have been postponed in National League South for similar reasons.

On Friday, inspecting referees made early calls with pitches sodden and forecasts concerning.

Eastleigh’s home game with FC Halifax was first to go after an morning inspection, before matches at Kidderminster, Gloucester, Blyth and Boston in the National League North were postponed.

Gateshead’s visit to Chester was called off just after 7pm.

Later on Friday night, Havant’s trip to Welling United also succumbed to the elements.
