Lions Hope Martin Can Keep The Goals Coming

Guiseley are backing Aaron Martin to step up to the National League North as they secured their first summer signing.

The forward scored 30 times in 42 games last season for Brighouse in the Evo-Stik Division One East.

The 27-year-old arrives at the club hoping to continue that scoring form.

The Lions didn’t find the net enough goals for the liking of join managers Russ O’Neill and Marcus Bignot last season.

They think the big forward has the quality needed to produce two league higher as Guiseley look to improve next season.

The club ended the season one place above the relegation places.

Although they avoided the drop for the second year running, more is expected next time around.
