Leyton Orient Strengthen Off The Field

Leyton Orient have welcomed two new members to the Board of Directors in Richard Emmett and David Travis.

Emmett, 61, serves as Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer for Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., the owner of the iconic Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins restaurant brands. Prior to joining Dunkin’, Emmett served as the Chief Legal Officer for QCE LLC, owner of Quiznos Subs, and for Papa John’s International, the owner of the Papa John’s Pizza concept.

For over 20 years Emmett was also a franchisee of Papa John’s. He also serves as a Board member of `Francesca’s`, a 700+ unit women’s apparel retailer.
Emmett is a US citizen and lives in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. He has become a rabid O’s fan as through the years he has seen and felt club chairman Nigel Travis’ contagious enthusiasm for Leyton Orient.

Travis, 38, has been a O's fan since birth after Grandfather and Father (Nigel) dragged him to Brisbane Road as a baby. A technology specialist in media with 20 years’ experience working in large public listed companies, Travis is currently Global Chief Product Officer for Ericsson Broadcast & Media Video Services group HQ out of London.

Chairman Nigel Travis said: “Dave and Rich bring vital skills to our Board and will make a major contribution to making our club sustainable”.
