Southport boss Alan Lewer says the players and staff are looking at why they have hit a poor run of form, writes Tom Feaheny.
Speaking to the club website Lewer spoke about the importance of looking at the changes they need to make.
"We are assessing what we have done wrong, there are things we are not happy with, we prided ourselves on clean sheets, we can't get one now, that must change.
"We are looking to get back to basics, have two or three good sessions before our next league game and hopefully that will help."
After the defeat against Bradford Park Avenue, Lewer said their defeat was down to a few reasons.
"We lost due to their desire, we hit the post, goals change games, but as soon as we went under a bit of pressure heads go down, then we are 2-0 down, we are chasing the game.
"We only had one player on the bench who could come on, I made that change at half-time, it caused some issues for them but we just couldn't get into it."
