The Ex-England defender, 35, has been keeping fit with the Vanarama National League North Bucks and has yet to find a new club following his release by Aston Villa.
So had another ex-Wolves player, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who has also been spending time at the New Bucks Head.
A deal for the striker seems more likely but Rob Edwards, the clubs manager, says there hasn't been much progress to report.
Edwards played with both players at Wolves and it seems a case of wait and see.
Ebanks-Blake did not train with us yesterday and it's not too far down the line, the manager said.
"He has trained and that is all it is at the moment, helping out a friend. Joleon trained with us twice and that is it really, nothing will happen there."
Edwards says his full focus is now on this weekend's big FA Cup tie against divisional rivals FC United of Manchester.
