Wrexham went top in midweek but are edged out by Notts County again after the table toppers were held 0-0 at Wealdstone.

Chesterfield are breathing down their necks again, a simple win at trouble Torquay United closes things up.

Woking look like contenders. After Wednesday’s win at Bromley, a 1-0 victory at Boreham Wood was earned by Reece Grego-Cox.

Southend United are also in great form - Shaun Hobson and Jack Bridge on target as their promotion pushes cranked up a notch with a simple 2-0 home win over Dorking Wanderers.

There were some big game down the bottom and struggling Scunthorpe United went down at home to Maidstone, who got their first win in 11 to lifts spirits.

Mark Cooper got his first win as Yeovil Town manager - Alex Fisher’s double downed Gateshead, who stay bottom.

Matt Robinson also hit a double as Dagenham overpowered Solihull Moors 3-0.

Oldham’s problems continue, a 2-0 home defeat to Barnet underlined the challenge in front of David Unsworth.

Jamie Cooke earned FC Halifax a point at Bromley while Maidenhead left Aldershot Town with a 2-1 victory.
