Leaders All Have A Day To Forget Across The Divisions!

It wasn’t a day to remember for the leaders in the three National League divisions.

Wrexham went top in midweek but are edged out by Notts County again after the table toppers were held 0-0 at Wealdstone.

County took Eastleigh’s unbeaten home record to return to the summit, pictured.

Free scoring full-back Adam Chicksen was at it again before Ruben Rodriques made things safe.

Chesterfield are breathing down their necks again, a simple win at troubled Torquay United closes things up.

Kabongo Tshimanga added the gloss late on despite Paul Cook’s touchline absence. It ended 5-1.

Woking look like genuine contenders. After Wednesday’s win at Bromley, a 1-0 victory at Boreham Wood was earned by Reece Grego-Cox.

There were some big games down the bottom and struggling Scunthorpe United went down at home to Maidstone, who got their first win in 11 to lifts spirits.

Mark Cooper enjoyed his first win as Yeovil Town manager - Alex Fisher’s double downed Gateshead, who stay bottom.

Ryan Colclough hit the winner as Altrincham completed a brilliant turn around to defeat York City in the live BT Sport game.

Matt Robinson also hit a double as Dagenham overpowered Solihull Moors 3-0.

Oldham’s problems continue, a 2-0 home defeat to Barnet underlined the challenge in front of David Unsworth.

Jamie Cooke earned FC Halifax a point at Bromley while Maidenhead left Aldershot Town with a 2-1 victory.

There was a shock in store for the teams at the top of the National League South.

Leaders Ebbsfleet United went down 2-1 at home to Tonbridge Angels, Sonny Miles hit the winner.

Dartford’s 11 game unbeaten run is over after Farnborough fired a warning to FA Cup opponents Wrexham.

Havant & Waterlooville up the pressure. Danny Wright got two late on as the Hawks eased to a 5-1 win against Dulwich Hamlet.

Chelmsford City suffered a set-back against Hampton, Tommy Block confirmed the win for the Beavers.

Weymouth warmed up for Wimbledon on Tuesday with just their second league win - a goal by Dan Matsuzaka got the better of Braintree Town.

Elsewhere Hungerford beat Slough Town as a Jake Hutchinson goal was enough for Eastbourne Borough to edge out St Albans City.

Darlington’s stay at the top of the National League North was a brief one.

Ryan McLean had a mixed day - he scored and was then sent off as Hereford won 1-0 at AFC Telford United.

Banbury United were outstanding as they crushed Buxton 4-0, Giorgio Rasulo netted twice.

Elsewhere there were great wins for Boston United and Chorley.
