Latics star extends his stay

Macclesfield Town have confirmed that Oldham Athletic have agreed to let Rhys Turner extend his loan spell with the Silkmen in the Vanarama National League by another month.

The former York City forward has made two appearances for the Silkmen so far but has been hampered by an ankle injury in recent weeks. But the forward, who scored in the club's FA Trophy draw at Truro City, has now fully recovered and will stay at Moss Rose until March 1.

The 20-year-old, pictured, has made 25 appearances for the League One Latics, scoring three goals since arriving at Boundary Park in January 2014. He was on loan at York City earlier this season where he scored once in nine games.
