Langton: Back To Basics Could Work Wonders For Wings

Welling United assistant Hugo Langton says a change in approach can see them bounce back from a winless run of three games.

Welling take on Truro City as they look to get their first win in four, this was after a 3-0 loss last weekend against East Thurrock United, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I don't like saying it really but we need to get back to basics, to get back to where we can get back to winning ways, it is small things that is costing us at the moment," Langton told Wings TV.

"We have got players who fit into the system of play, we have had a great run with the same system, now we have to fight back and get back to being doing what we are capable of.

"It is still tight, we know if we can be in and around the play-off places by February and March, we have got a great chance."

Langton knows that high-flying Truro will be a tough test but he believes they have to focus on themselves going into this one."

"Truro have been on a great run, we've got to have the attention on the group and not the opposition for this one, we know the quality they have."
