Lambs Return For Midfielder Fox

Midfielder Ben Fox has returned to Tamworth on loan from SkyBet Championship side Burton Albion until January 2nd 2018.

Fox should be a familiar face to Lambs fans, having made over twenty appearances for the club last season, and finding the back of the net on two occasions.

Despite scoring his first senior Burton Albion goal earlier this season away at Cardiff City, Fox has had limited game time since.

Commenting on the capture of Fox, Andy Morrell told his club`s official website: “It's great to have Ben back on board. We don't have much cover in the middle of the park especially with Aman Verma struggling with an injury. So, we are delighted to be able to bring Ben in until January."

Morrell added: "He did fantastically well for us last season, he really came on leaps and bounds as his time with us went on and he got to grips with the league. He's a fresh face to the group and is ready to start. He offers some pace, he's fit and can get about the park. He wants to learn and get better and brings a fresh mind to our current situation."

Fox goes straight into the squad for the trip to York City tomorrow.
