Kinnear Wants Winning Habit To Start Again This Weekend

Dover Athletic boss Chris Kinnear says his side need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Athletic have a chance to be one of a few sides playing in the Vanarama National League as they look to beat the weather.

They will then look to defeat Leyton Orient in a key game for the side.

“We want to get the winning habit back on Saturday,” Kinnear told the official club website.

“Obviously we won our game before Fylde against Dagenham, so that was a good result and we just need to pick ourselves up.”

“I know everyone keeps staying that, but it is true and everyone is thinking it. It was just disappointing after being one up in conditions like they were that we couldn’t see the game out at Fylde.”

Kinnear who takes charge of his 1501st match in football had this to stay on the season.

"I have been in the game long enough to know it is not done until the final whistle on the last day, we have a young group who will have learnt a lot from the past few weeks."
