Kinnear Thinks Week Break Doing Side Good

Dover Athletic boss Chris Kinnear says his side having a seven break from competitive competition after two losses will help his side.

Defeats against Dag and Red and AFC Fylde in close matches has seen the side drop from top spot, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I think the week without a competitive game is needed, we have a young group who haven't played too much football, so to be two points off the top is a great position," Kinnear told the club's website.

"We've had enough chances to win the last two matches, but we haven't won them matches so we have to train hard and get ready for Bromley away."

"We know Bromley is gonna be hard, in the past we have done okay at grounds like Bromley's we go and look to win the game again."
