Kinnear Proud Of His Young Side's Progression

Dover Athletic boss Chris Kinnear saw his team gain a point at Guiseley, that sees them in third place in the Vanarama National League

Chris Kinnear says his team keep on impressing him as they remain in the play-off places, writes Tom Feaheny.

After a 1-1 draw in Yorkshire Kinnear said.

"It is a fair point, we are such a young side one of our more experienced players is 22, that is what I've had, we made a lot of changes so of course I'm delighted with where we are right now."

"We are learning from our mistakes, we conceded a goal that we won't again as the wall needs to be stronger, they take all the advice on board."

When looking at their League position Kinnear said.

"Each week I see teams have dropped points, we just keep plugging away getting results, I think it was another fair result for us."

Nortei Nortey scored a fine equaliser for the side, Kinnear said

"He can do that, cut inside and chase, he causes opposition defenses problems, it's a fine strike."
