Kiernan Comes Up North As Harrogate Secure Welling Star

Brendan Kiernan is Harrogate Town’s third signing of the summer.

The midfielder is to leave London for the first time and head to Yorkshire after leaving Welling United

The former Hampton, AFC Wimbledon and Crystal Palace wideman steps back up after five years in the National League South.

The 26-year-old is ready for the big change after leaving the capital behind.

“When I met with Simon Weaver he told me the club’s ambitions and I wanted be part of the journey,” he told the club’s website.

“I’ve seen the way Harrogate play and I’m looking forward to adding to the squad, helping the boys out and hopefully having a good season here.”
