Kiddy’s Vaughan On The Move As Solihull Secure Full-Back

Solihull Moors have strengthened their title bid by bringing in experienced full-back Lee Vaughan.

New Kidderminster managed Mark Yates must do without the athletic defender after the boss’ former club came calling.

Vaughan is thrilled to be a part of the Moors’ push for promotion.

“It’s good to finally get it all done and hopefully I can get on with playing football,” he said.

“It’s a club I’ve always looked out for being local. For me, at the moment, it’s the right time and the club’s only going in one direction.”

He could play this weekend when Solihull take their unexpected championship bid to Ebbsfleet United.

“It’s a great move for Lee,” Yates told Harriers’ website.

“He’s been offered an extended contract there which, at the moment, we weren’t in a position to do, so it makes sense for him and his family.

“He’s been a great servant to the club and we wish him well with Tim and Gary at Solihull.”
