Kiddy To Play Waiting Game With Bradley's Injury

Kidderminster Harriers are in the dark over midfielder Dan Bradley's knee injury.

The 28-year-old picked up the blow during Harriers' 2-2 draw with Spennymoor Town last month.

The talented former Alfreton Town player hopes that surgery can be avoided through rest after being seen by a specialist earlier this week.

Manager John Eustace told the club's website: “It needs rest and we’re hoping that after a couple of weeks it will have settled down.

“Fingers crossed it can heal itself, otherwise Dan’s pencilled in for a little operation which would clean it up. We’d obviously rather give it a couple of weeks to see how we go than miss him for another six weeks or more if he needs the op.”

“Dan has had a terrible run of injuries since he’s been here and we definitely haven’t seen the best of him yet. Injuries are part and parcel of football and the test will be in how he can react and come back from this.

“Hopefully we can avoid the need for the operation but if he does end up having it then it still means that we’ll have a fantastic player to come back into the team after Christmas.”
