Kidderminster To Host England Under-17s At Aggborough

Kidderminster Harriers will host England under-17`s against Italy under-17`s later this month as preparation for next summer’s UEFA Under-17 Euros in the Young Lions’ own backyard begins.

St George’s Park will be the base for the 2018 finals, the first under-17 men’s tournament to be played in England.

An under-17 squad led by Neil Dewsnip will face Turkey (18th August) and Scotland (20nd August) in behind-closed-doors fixtures at The FA’s national football centre before heading to the home of the Harriers for the match-up with the Italians on Tuesday, 22nd August 2017, 7pm kick-off.

It will be almost a year to the day since Kidderminster’s Aggborough Stadium last hosted an England side when the under-20s, then managed by Aidy Boothroyd and on the start of their road to World Cup glory in South Korea, narrowly lost 2-1 to Brazil.

Tickets for this latest fixture are priced at just £3 and £1.50.
