Keohane Returns to Ireland

Having trained with Vanarama National League club Torquay United this week, Jimmy Keohane, has opted to return to his native Ireland.

The former Exeter City and Woking man has impressed player-manager, Kevin Nicholson, who revealed that the door would be open for him here in the future.

"Jimmy had options to go back to Ireland, which he told us about from the off," said Nicholson. "He was happy with what he saw here and the direction in which the club is heading, but in the end, he has family in Ireland and decided to go back there.

"It's a mark of the man that he drove over here to tell me his decision face-to-face rather than on the phone.

"He's a good player and a good character and the door will always be open for him here."
