The experienced striker famously scored the penalty that sent AFC Wimbledon into the Football League back in 2011.
Kedwell also skippered the Fleet as they won the National League South play-offs last season and he also experienced promotion with Gillingham.
Now he’s hoping to climb back into the Football League but the Fleet must first confirm their play-off place with a positive result at relegated Torquay United tomorrow.
Kedwell told Kent Online: ”We were aiming for top ten but we knew, as a group, we could go higher with the quality we've got in this team.
"We deserve to be where we are.If we had a better start to the season, with all those draws, we'd have been in and around automatic promotion.
"We've got to make sure we prepare right and perform against Torquay. Hopefully, we have a good day out in the play-offs.
“The way we're playing at the minute, we're not worried where we play really. If we keep performing how we are, we'll be all right.”
He added: “We're full of confidence - not just the players but the staff as well. The gaffer's been magnificent. He believes in us and tells us how good we are so we take that onto the pitch.”
