Kedwell Calls It A Day At Ebbsfleet As He Nears Next Move

Danny Kedwell has announced he is leaving Ebbsfleet United.

The striker, 35, is going to play on next season by it won’t be with the National League club.

He confirmed on Instagram on Friday night that he is moving on.

Kedwell, the former Wimbledon and Welling forward, is expected to sign for a new club early next week.

“It’s time to say goodbye to Ebbsfleet United,” he posted.

“I have had a great three-and-a-half years with promotion as captain and two play-off seasons which I will never forget.

“I would like to thank my ex-team mates as they have been a credit to work with every day. I have made some great friends at the club.

“But I also want to thank the fans for their great support - they have been brilliant to me.”

Kedwell did confirm he is staying at the club to coach their academy.
