Kane Decides To Return As Woking Re-Sign Ferdinand

Woking have gone through a summer of near total change but they have clung on to one part of their past.

Kane Ferdinand has decided to re-sign after a close season of soul searching.

The 25-year-old midfielder took his time to commit after being a mainstay in the Cards’ side last term.

But manager Alan Dowson’s patience has paid off and he is thrilled Ferdinand will be playing for the club next season in the National League South.

He told the club’s website: "I sat down with him after the Chelsea game and we spoke about football for a long time.

“I think he can be a great addition to the squad and I’m confident it will be a great move for him and the club.

“He was one of the players from last season who I wanted to keep and I’m pleased he’s decided to stay on.”
