The 21-year-old forward spent his youth career at Birmingham, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Last season Kandi made sixteen appearances for Woking, scoring 3 goals in the National League, before joining Leatherhead at the end of season.
He signed off his brief Tanners spell with a hat-trick in the Emirates FA Cup tie against Cray Valley PM.
He has also played at international level for Wales’ under-19 side scoring one goal in his only appearance.
Kandi told the Daggers media team: “I am as happy as I can be to join Dagenham & Redbridge
“I’ve had a history in good academies such as Chelsea and Brighton, to come from there I know I have the ability to show what I can do at this level and I just need to prove it.
“It is nice to be back at this level and I have nothing to worry about as I have the experience from previously playing at Woking.”
Daggers` boss John Still said: “We have been watching him for a few games, everyone has been impressed with him and we have looked at his background.
“He has had an excellent upbringing in football and we have no problems in taking this opportunity to give this young man what we give to all the young players, the opportunity to progress his career for us and for himself.”
