Just A Week To Go! Today's Pre-season Friendly Preview

The countdown is well and truly on as National League clubs sound the ‘one week to go’ klaxon.

So with time running it’s last minute preparation and fine tuning. There’s a lot to look forward to this weekend as the clubs gear up for battle next Saturday.

Bostik League club Billericay Town have never been far from a headline this summer and after signing Jermaine Pennant today they face Leyton Orient at New Lodge with a point to prove.

Bromley are opening their fantastic new 3G pitch and hope a strong side are there to make the afternoon go with a bang.

“It should be a great day,” said manager Neil Smith. “It was brilliant to get on the pitch this week and see it close up. We’re looking forward to playing on it next season.”

York City host Notts County, while Buxton are at home to a Gainsborough Trinity side looking to prove people wrong next season according to their manager.
