Jones Says One Win Should Be Enough For City To Stay Up

Oxford City boss Mark Jones says his side have their eyes on safety and know what they need to stay up.

It may have been defeat last time around against Chippenham Town but with the end of the season in sight, the aim is now to pick up a vital victory, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was fine margins last time around, again you couldn't see we weren't too bad but we weren't clinical," Jones told the club's website.

"Over the past month the players efforts have to be applauded, we have stepped it up and that is a building block."

Jones wants their safety to be secured in the next few games and believes they can do just that soon.

"To be on 41 points and results not being too bad, I'd say one more win should see us right.

"It is a good job we have picked up those wins before, another home game coming up could be key for us."
