Jones: Four Points From Bank Holiday Weekend The Aim

Oxford City boss Mark Jones says three points today would see them achieve what they set out to do from these two matches.

Oxford drew 1-1 with Welling United and face Chippenham Town this Bank Holiday Monday, writes Tom Feaheny.

Jones spoke to the club's website about what they wanted to get from the two games.

"We take positives going into the match knowing that at times we played well we need to do that more from Saturday. The target of four points from six available doesn't look too bad if we can get that win on Bank holiday Monday."

"As a group we look at Chippenham and know that they will be a tough test for us, we need to be at our best."

Jones was quick to point out both Jack Stevens and Rob Sinclair who both made their debuts on Saturday and could play again today.

"I thought they both did well, Jack didn't have much to do in the first-half but he looked assured when called upon, Rob hasn't played too much football in recent months, this was his first competitive match in a while but he looked good."
