Job Vacancy: Digital And Broadcast Manager

The National League are recruiting for a Digital and Broadcast Manager.

We are looking for a digital and marketing manager to manage, own and implement the marketing strategy and activation for the National Leagues’ range of digital products, with a specific focus on driving subscriptions, sponsorship and advertising revenue for National League TV.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising fan engagement and identifying ways to optimise the digital experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING//

  • Ultimate responsibility for driving subscription and advertising sales for National League TV, against an annual set of pre-agreed KPIs.
  • Create, implement, and deliver a series of targeted marketing campaigns across a variety of digital and offline channels every season.
  • Generate national and international brand awareness of the National League TV, proposition.
  • Work with the Clubs to provide marketing toolkits and best practice guidelines for their own localised promotions.
  • Measure and monitor subscription sales results against all marketing activities against bespoke campaign KPIs.
  • Primary responsibility for managing subscriber churn; delivery of refunds; and responding to any customer queries.
  • Work with the General Manager and Commercial Committee to manage the availability of all live fixtures for both video and audio products on the National League TV platform.
  • To ensure a consistency in look and feel of all promotional activity in-line with the brand approach to National League TV.
  • Work with the National League Digital suppliers to ensure the best use of the tools and capabilities that the collective platform provides.
  • Robust approach to budgeting of marketing activities with a view to driving maximum return on any investment.
  • Work with the General Manager and Commercial Committee to provide National League TV subscription sales revenue forecasts for the Board and the Senior Management Team.
  • Work with the General Manager and Commercial Committee to identify marketing support for any new digital products that may be introduced.
  • Manage 3rd party production partners to ensure smooth running of broadcast.
  • Work with the Commercial Committee to help them with opportunities to commercialise the broadcast and streaming platform.
  • Manage and deliver the rebuild of the National League website and CRM system to deliver a better consumer proposition and more integrated advertising and sponsorship platform.
  • Have an overview and implement developments to the website and CRM to drive traffic to our website.
  • THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED//
  • A background in working on a subscription and advertising based digital product for a consumer-facing business.
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing strategies and campaign delivery techniques.
  • History of creative campaign conception against set objectives.
  • Proven capability of working in a commercially-focused organisation.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a pressurised environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, time management and attention to detail and the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starting individual with the ability to work in a team environment but autonomously as required.
  • Excellent social skills including proven experience of influencing decision makers at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets.
  • Experience in delivering results in accordance with pre-defined success metrics.
  • Experience segmenting data and taking insight from a CRM system
