Jenkins Full Of Praise For Silkmen

Macclesfield Town made it six wins in a row after defeating Leyton Orient first team coach Byron Jenkins was delighted with their result.

A Scott Wilson header just before half-time resulted in Town now having a three point lead at the top of the table, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was a really good performance by us, we got the goal at a crucial time and defended well when we needed to," Byron Jenkins said to the club's website.

"We took the chance we had and the lads did really well, you can feel the confidence that is in this group."

"Leyton Orient have some players that we know are very skillful so it is three points that we are very pleased about."

Macclesfield next face Dag & Red and Jenkins knows how tough it will be.

"I think that game could be the one that tests us the most they have a good side and a manager who has been there and done it."
