Jay Extends Truro Stay

Vanarama National League South club Truro City have announced that....

....agreement has been reached to extend striker Matty Jay's loan from Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City until 15th May.

Jay joined on an initial one-month loan from Exeter and made his debut against Maidenhead United on 23rd January. He made an immediate impact, setting up Dan Green for Truro's first goal and scoring the second himself.

Jay's industry and willingness to shoot when he gets in the vicinity of the penalty area has quickly established him as a favourite amongst the fans.

Manager Steve Tully and his assistant Wayne Carlisle will be very happy to have Jay in the squad as the season moves towards its climax.
